Netgear's EVA 9150 is a wireless multi-media streamer - it has a fairly spacious 500GB hard-drive capable of holding a nice sized video library, and can stream all of this to your TV (or to a computer, if that's your thing). It's also worth pointing out that the Netgear EVA is capable of streaming in full 1080p, so if you have an HD Ready TV this may be the machine for you.
You can also stream video from the Internet, so instead of relying on your PC to stream footage from YouTube or the like, the EVA can do that for you instead, which can be useful.
The EVA 9150 is very good at streaming video thanks to some clever technology that buffers streamed video very efficiently, meaning that even though your video is being streamed wirelessly, you're much less likely to see any glitchy, start-stop footage.
It's a very easy device to set up and install in your home if you have Windows software - and it's secure too. Instead of having to enter lengthy WEP keys, it has a useful push and connect feature (basically a button that helps it to automatically connect to your devices). If you have a Mac though, it's still doable but it does involve some lengthy workarounds. It's still worth remembering that it's possible though - if you're desperate to get your hands on the EVA. There aren't many downsides to the Netgear EVA, other than having a fairly slow boot-up time and a bit of a tricky set-up time if you have a Mac, it more than makes up for this with it's high quality video output and it's super-snappy non-glitchy videos.
